Molded pulp is an ideal option for packing electronics and electric appliances in many ways. Molded pulp enables copying the surface of the product being packed perfectly to avoid undesirable move inside the packet. Thanks to its optimally designed deformation zones vibrations transferred to the product packed are avoided or significantly decreased. Moreover, thanks to the material used and the production system molded pulp is electrostatic neutral which is an ideal packing environment for electronic devices. Multiple pressing ensures very smooth surface and compressed surface which is used for packing mobile phones, PDAs and other personal electronics. Thanks to its very accurate dimensions molded pulp can also be used for machine packing.

Industry / domestic appliances

Products made of molded pulp can be used for packing in various industrial branches (light engineering, automobile components, small glass products, furniture, cosmetics and dry goods, small consumer goods, etc.). The advantage is that molded pulp can be molded into any 3D surface and, therefore, every product can be packed separately or a group of small products can be packed together. Packets made of molded pulp can be modified during production to make moisture resistant or water resistant products. If the product is intended directly for end customers or for one-off use, molded pulp ensures easy and environmentally friendly disposal of the packet.

Health / gardening

The unquestionable advantages of molded pulp enable its expansion in previously unimaginable branches. One of the branches is health service where molded pulp has been working well in the form of urinary aids such as urinals and other containers for excrements. Moreover, molded pulp is used for production of storage bowls for hypodermic needles, oral aids for examination of patients or toxic waste from surgeries. Utilization of molded pulp avoids the need of repeated disinfecting urinals or storage bowls. Toxic waste, including molded pulp, can be disposed together. Another branch where molded pulp can be advantageously used is gardening. One-off or growing flowerpots which self-decompose after being put in soil are used. Molded pulp is also a fertilizer.

Food

Utilization of molded pulp in the food industry is perhaps the oldest way of utilization. The most popular products in this area are egg boxes. However, the spectrum of utilization of molded pulp for food packing is very wide. It is used for packing fruit – piece (apples, peaches, mango, etc.) or small (strawberries, raspberries, currant, grapes, etc.). Thanks to its excellent damping properties molded pulp can be used for packing glass bottles or as decorative packets for wine bottles. Utilization of molded pulp for production of one-off dinning plates, bowls, pots, etc. is a special group.
